- Locate or create a summative or formative assessment.
- Identify hotspots and common misconceptions in the unit; e.g. pacing (breadth v. depth), topics that are difficult to teach; e.g. aspects of the feudal system.
Skills
- Long term backwards plan from the assessment; e.g. year-long plans, unit plans.
- Short term backwards plan from assessments; e.g. lesson plans.
